TabTrader Adds New Search Interface For iOS And Android Apps

The mobile cryptocurrency trading app TabTrader has implemented another feature announced in the project’s roadmap: a unified search engine for currency pairs and exchanges. This allows users to simultaneously compare the exchange rates of currencies on the 23 exchanges connected to the app, including the ones leading the market: Bitfinex, Bittrex, Poloniex, and Kraken. The TabTrader Android client already supports trade on those exchanges through API. Trading on the iOS version remains unavailable for now, but traders can use the app to set up signals and alerts and to monitor quotes.

TabTrader is a terminal that allows cryptocurrency trading by managing accounts on the 23 leading crypto exchanges. The app has over 400,000 active users. In terms of trade volume, TabTrader is comparable to the world’s largest stock exchanges.

Earlier users were able to search for currency pairs within each exchange separately. The developers have now united the search engine across all of them. Moreover, the cost of each asset is displayed next to a ticker, helping to compare prices during the search.

“With this new interface we’ve come even closer to our goal: to create a cryptocurrency Skyscanner. You can trade or simply keep track of the exchange coins’ rates and set up alerts and signals. All of these features are available on Android, but we plan to add trading features to the iOS version this year. That move will make us market leaders,” notes TabTrader founder and Finom CFO Denis Suslov.

As a part roadmap implementation, TabTrader also has begun testing new types of orders. The app previously allowed to place limit orders only, which come into effect when the price of a cryptocurrency reaches a fixed rate. Now users with HitBTC accounts have access to the five types of orders supported by the exchange.

Some specific orders have also been added for Kraken. For example, they offer market orders, which allow you to open and close positions quickly if you’re willing to buy assets at the current market price, as well as the ‘Expires’ field that limits an order’s lifespan.

TabTrader continues to expand its list of available crypto exchanges. In January, the developers added support for Lykke, and in December – for Binance.

In December 2017 the organizational committee of the Time for Innovation awards declared TabTrader ‘Discovery of the Year’ in the Blockchain category. At the same time, the terminal entered the list of the top five most viewed apps on Google Play in the United States, leaving behind its main competitors, Coinbase, CryptoTrader, and Blockfolio. The top two positions in the rating were taken by the financial giants JPMorgan Chase and PayPal.
